Hello Matt,

I read with interest about the conception to the birth and nurturing of your listening room ( with hightened jealousy I may add) How marvellous to have a place to revel in the sounds of music. I hope that one day I too may have a room very much like yours. Thank you for sharing your passion.

Bonny

Thanks Bonny,

I worked a long time to figure out the "balance" of my room, and system. While that was a fascinating journey, I must admit, it's nice to be in a place where I can just enjoy the fruits of my labor, so to speak. Of course I still tune my system, but it's really more just fine tuning. Moving around speakers, and furniture, and room treatments etc. can get quite laborious, but it's well worth the effort! Once I found the balance of those "bigger" issues, things got a lot easier. These days, for me, tuning consists of things like re-setting the tuning bolts on my speakers, fine tuning the position of a harmonic spring, or maybe re-setting the the angle of a soundshutter.

These days, I'm really just enjoying the music. Very Happy
