Please accept my thanks on behalf of the Eastman School of Music for the acoustical treatment in Room 209. The acoustical difference is remarkable. A room known for its booming and uneven acoustics has been transformed into a superb multi-purpose space, now effective for a wide range of ensembles, as well as for teaching and lecturing. A number of our performance faculty have commented to me that the room is now a desirable space for rehearsal and small performances. I am personally astonished at how such simple and aesthetically appealing additions make such an amazing difference. Congratulations to UMI and Michael Green for your good work. I look forward to our continued friendship.
